Mach2 Events Faq's

What type of person goes to the events?

All types of people attend from many varied backgrounds. The common theme is their interests and their sociability.

What do people wear at functions?

At the main events at hotels a dress code applies of normal style street clothes but made of latex, leather etc. In other words nothing that could upset

other guests or hotel staff. At members’ private events at their homes a more relaxed and varied approach is possible.

I would love to come but my partner is nervous?

This is the most common question and issue. Attending your first event can be nerve wracking as every member (and especially members’ partners) will remember from their ‘first time’. To overcome that initial unfamiliarity, new members can be met at reception and introduced to other guests .

Are singles welcome?

MACH2 caters for couples and singles. A small proportion of members attending functions are single. However it should be made clear that there are no single ladies attending MACH2 events and single males hoping to meet a lady will be disappointed.

How many people attend the functions?

The Spring event attracts approx. 80-90 members and the Autumn weekend 120-140. They come mainly from all parts of the UK with some members travelling long distances from abroad.

What range of fetish interests is covered.

The main interest is DRESSING FOR PLEASURE in rubber/latex, leather and PVC. Some members have specific interests such as mackintoshes, boots, corsets etc. Other members are attracted to bondage and CP but this is not on display at any public function.

How much does it cost?

Annual membership is low at £25 (single or couple). The events are organised by the committee who negotiate to obtain excellent value for money considering the quality of the venues. For example a weekend function including accommodation, food, entertainment and ‘in house’ events would be in the region of £230 for a couple.
